Claudia Gukeisen is an Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner, Certified Health Counselor, Ayurvedic Nutrition and Culinary Educator, and Kripalu Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist who offers health consultations, workshops, and group cleanses. She is trained to view health issues through an Ayurvedic lens by discovering the root cause of dis-ease beginning with a client’s digestive health. Her training includes the study of Gastro-Intestinal, Neurological, Musculoskeletal, Cardio-Vascular, Psychological, Endocrine, Skin, and Women's Health as well as Ayurvedic Herbology and Formulations.
She is also a Certified Mindful Grieving Yoga Therapy Facilitator providing Mindful Grieving Programs for groups of 6-10 individuals, and the creator of the Self-Care for Grief Program, a personalized one-to-one program combining Ayurveda, Mindfulness, and Yoga practices for those grieving loss or acting as caregivers. Holding Space for Grief sessions are also available for caregivers or others supporting bereaved friends and family which teach compassionate listening and validation skills as well as simple tools for self-care.
Claudia has been a presenter at The Omega Institute and for The Grief Support Network and currently teaches for Gilda’s Club Westchester, The Grief Support Network, and The Center for Somatic Grieving. She is a professional member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association & Yoga Alliance.
