Covid-19 Safety Protocols for On-Site Appointments

Addressing Covid-19: A Letter to Our Community

The safety of our community, you, and our practitioners is very important to us.

To support social distancing, only our practitioners who offer hands-on forms of healthcare such as chiropractic and acupuncture will be onsite (all other practitioners will continue to offer services virtually); and scheduling times for clients/patients will be alternated throughout the day so that only one client/patient enters and exits Izlind at a time.

Further, the entry/exit doors to Izlind will be kept locked at all times. You will be met by your practitioner at the entrance to Izlind, escorted to the treatment room, and escorted out of Izlind after your treatment session.

Arrangements will be made with each practitioner ahead of time regarding the particulars of this procedure (e.g., waiting in car, texting practitioner to let the know you’ve arrived).

To address additional cleaning and sanitizing of common areas and treatment rooms, we will continue to follow the most stringent guidelines. Common areas will be cleaned and sanitized at least twice a day every day. Additional cleaning and sanitizing of common areas will occur throughout the day if areas are touched.

Further, each practitioner will sanitize tables, chairs, doorknobs, and any other touched areas (e.g., jewelry dish, pen, desk) within their individual treatment rooms before and after every treatment session – and will allow extra time between treatment sessions to accomplish this.

You will be asked to sanitize your hands upon entering Izlind. Hand sanitizers will be visible and available for your usage.

Practitioners will wash and/or sanitize their hands before and after every treatment session as well as after any incident of touching doorknobs, light switches, or equipment.

Personal protective equipment will be used as mandated and recommended by government and professional organizations. All practitioners will wear masks at all times while on site, and you also will be required to wear masks at all times while onsite. Nitrile gloves will be available to you upon request.

You will be pre-screened by your practitioner before arriving at Izlind. This pre-screen will include questions about your health and any possible recent exposure to Covid-19 or other viruses/illnesses.

It is our mission to do all that we can to help you be well and experience optimal health.

We are in this together, and we will get through this together…
