In addition to being a Qigong Teacher for over 25 years, Steven was one of the founding members of the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, and he has served as Co-Director, Host, and Teacher with Omega’s winter programs in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Costa Rica for over 30 years. He has studied qigong extensively with Dr. Roger Jahnke, OMD, Master Maurice Haltom, and John Stokes. Steven is a certified instructor in Chinese movement and healing arts with the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi and has been teaching elements of Qigong in the Hudson Valley for many years. He is a staff member and teacher with The Tracking Project (a diverse team of artists/educators who teach “The Arts of Life” such as traditional tracking and survival skills, music, storytelling, dance, peace-making, and martial arts) and provides educational services through this Project to children and adults in The Virgin Islands, Sweden, Costa Rica, and the U.S. Steven also teaches classes and workshops around New York State, in Connecticut, Virginia, Florida, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado and New Mexico. Steven and his wife Lila are the owners of Rhinebeck’s popular store - Winter Sun Summer Moon.
