The alarm clock next to her bed reads 12:15am. “If I fall asleep now, I can get 6 hours of sleep,” she thinks to herself. She checks the clock again, and it reads 1:30am. “If I fall asleep now, I’ll get 5 hours and 45 minutes of sleep.” The night continues this way…unrestful…little sleep. And the cycle of sleeplessness begins or continues.
