Peter Dubitsky came to acupuncture through interests in Asian arts and philosophy, athletics, health and fitness, and the martial arts, which he continues to enjoy by training in Tai Chi and karate. He completed his acupuncture training in 1991 and was among the first acupuncturists to earn a New York State License in Acupuncture in 1992.  Peter developed a special interest in the treatment of pain conditions through personal positive experiences with trigger point acupuncture to successfully treat his own athletic injuries, the pain conditions of other athletes, as well as other injuries and pain conditions of his patients. Complementing his clinical specialization, he has completed a 300-hour post-graduate program in the Acupuncture Treatment of Orthopedic Conditions. In addition to serving as Izlind's physical medicine acupuncturist, Peter has worked as an acupuncture college administrator and clinical instructor at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture (TSCA) and NYU Medical School residency program in Rehabilitation Medicine in New York City. Peter also worked for 17 years in a family medical practice, integrating acupuncture with the medical care of patients, and has served his profession as a member and chair of the New York State Board for Acupuncture.
