Join Claudia for a 6 week guided relaxation practice, which brings your mind into its healing, restful state suspended between being awake and asleep while activating the body’s innate healing abilities. Each class begins seated with 10 minutes of gentle breathing and centering to calm the body and mind. Participants then choose either to lie down covered with blankets and an eye pillow or remain seated while Claudia leads a guided practice to journey deeper into relaxation.
Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra is for anyone with a desire for greater inner peace and connection with one’s self. Scientific research has shown that Yoga Nidra may reduce negative reactions to stress, lessen insomnia, lessen anxiety and depression, lessen chronic pain, strengthen immune and endocrine systems, and assist with regulation of high blood pressure. With practice, twenty minutes of yoga nidra can be equivalent to up to three hours of restorative sleep.
